Eight people were injured by Israeli forces forces on Wednesday evening near the border fence east, central and south of Gaza Strip. Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces opened fire on citizens gathered near eastern Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps, wounding 8 people. A medical source added that paramedics transported the injured to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip. Whilst medics reported in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip that Suleiman Saleh Nejadi, 27, suffered moderate injuries in his back after the Israeli occupation forces stationed in \"Sofa\" shot him.
Israel’s intensive assault on the Gaza Strip lasted eight days killing 176 and wounding 1,400 before an internationally backed Egyptian-brokered truce was reached. However, Israel violated the truce several times, arresting six fishermen, seizing one of their boats and blowing-up the other in the Sea of Gaza City, while one citizen was killed and dozens wounded when soldiers opened fire on farmland east of Khan Younis.
