The Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that almost 40 percent of Israelis would prefer to emigrate out of Israel, with only two percent of Israeli families having the financial means to leave. The newspaper published poll results conducted by the CI Research Center, stating that 37 percent of Israelis would like to emigrate out of the country, but economic conditions prevent most from doing so. The Haaretz poll suggested many reasons for emigration, including Israel’s economic situation, present security conditions and a potential war with Iran.
