Two policemen were killed in an armed attack on a police vehicle in Al Arish. Security forces report that two other were injured and in critical conditions. The attackers are suspected to have been Jihadists that Egyptian police have been tracking since August. They reportedly fled the scene before they could be identified, sources revealed. Another group reportedly attacked a police station in al-Nakhel city in an effort to free a prisoner. Eye witnesses said the attackers were shooting at the police station from an unmarked car 300 metres away. Police officers responded to the attack and began to fire back, sources said. No casualties were reported in this incident, and the gunmen fled the scene moments later.
