Actor Hamada Helal

Actor Hamada Helal is participating in this Ramadan season through “Jackpot” series, where he plays the role of a poor young man with ambitions and dreams which he wants to achieve, but he faces many obstacles, so he tries to conquer them without losing his principles.

During an interview with “Arab Today” he said that, this character is new and different for him, as it presents a cause and discuss the pressures that young people face, that make them give up on their dreams, so he tries to give them hope through this series. He said that, he was looking for a different character after his role in “Heir”, until writer Ahmed Abu Zaid offered him “Jackpot” script and he was pleased with it and happy to work again with Abu Zaid, as they share mutual understanding and his works always focus on social drama that has been missing in the field for a long time.

He expressed his admiration for director, Mohammed Mustafa for how he works and for his artistic vision, denying any similarities between his new character and Ahmed Zaki character in “Escape” movie, adding that people have already accused him of copying Ahmed Zaki before when he played the boxer character in “Life dream” movie, but the misunderstanding was revealed when the audience saw the movie.

He usually refuses to sing if the events don’t require that, but some scenes need some drama through particular songs, so he performs them along with the songs of the beginning and the end of the series. He will finish filming the entire series in the first week of Ramadan, and he finished shooting most of the scenes and he is now recording the series’ songs.

He and his team faced difficulties while shooting the external scenes especially as the whole series is filmed in streets and countryside, but they managed to do it and the people in the street were very helpful. He confirmed that, he did his best in the series and hopes the audience will love it. He is working in the series with, Yousra Al Lozi, Mai Al Qadi, Hanan Sulaiman, Sahar Al Sayegh and Mustapha Abu Saree.
