President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Thursday morning arrived in Medani city in a three-day visit.
He was received in Medani by the Wali (governor) of Gezira State, Mohamed Tahir Aila, and members of his government and a big number of citizens.
During the visit, President Al-Bashir will inaugurate the Third Tourism and Shopping Festival and a number of development and services' projects.
He will also address a number of mass rallies in the state.
