Khairi Ramadan resigned on air during his television show \"Possible\" on CBC A broadcaster resigning on air during their show is turning in to a phenomenon sweeping the Arab media. Khairi Ramadan surprised his audience three days ago with his live resignation from CBC during his program \"Possible .\" Khairy said his resignation came as a response to managements refusal to let his guest, former presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi, enter the studio.
Just weeks before that, Ihab Nafie, broadcaster at \"Mercy\" channel also resigned on air in protest to the decision of the channel owner, Sheikh Mohamed Hassan, to freeze the broadcasting of all political programs. Basem Yusuf also shocked his fans by announcing his resignation from \"Online TV\" channel, he tried to explain the reasons for his departure in a comical way, but blamed his departure on channel head Albert Shafik.
