Ramadan dramas dominated by sorcery and witchcraft

Advertisements of Ramadan 2017 marathon showed that, most of the dramas are dominated by witchcraft and sorcery including actor Youssef Al-Sheirf series “Kafr Delhab”, where he plays the character of a doctor named “Saad” who comes to unknown place called “Kafr Delhab” to treat people using magic and spells. The series is also starring Roujina, Mohamed Riad, Ahmed Said Abdel Ghani, Ramiz Amir, Mai El Qadi, Mohamed Abou El Wafa, Mahmoud Hijazi, Mohamed Hamdi, Safaa El Toukhy, Rania El Khatib and Rahab Arif.
 
Also sorcery appears in Adel Emam series “Adly Allam’s ghosts” where he plays the role of an official in Book House Authority, who is interested in culture and is faced with a ghost who will be helping him to recognize his work enemies. Actor Ahmed Halawa is playing the role of imposter who deceives helpless people. This series is written by Youssef Moatee, produced by Tamer Morsi and starring Adel Emam, Hala Sedqi, Ghada Adel, Kamal Abu Raya, Rashwan Tawfiq and others.

Actress Sumaya Al Khashab also plays a character who earns her income by using witchcraft and performing religious rituals in “Al Halal” series. She also plays the second wife of an elder who marries three other women in secret. The series is starring Bayoumi Fuad, Fadia Abdel Ghani, Dina Fuad, Yousra El Lozi, Maha Ahmed, Souaaa and Hassan Eid and directed by Ahmed Shafik.

“Oh, I’m fasting” series by actor Mustafa Shabaan also has some magic and sorcery scenes that take place in a popular area. The series is starring Mustafa Shabaan, Magda Zaki, Mai Nour El Sherif, Wafa Sadiq, Raim Mostafa, Suliman Eid, Mohamed Abou El Wafa, Linda Moussa, written by Ahmed Abdel Fattah, produced by Tamer Morsi, and directed by Akram Freid.
