Syria attack

Six citizens were killed on late Sunday, as the opposition militants bombarded the governmental troops existed in Qabon and Eastern Ghout of the Syrian capital of Damascus. According to a military source, the governmental troops used intensively the mortar shells and rocket-propelled grenades against Assad district of Damascus countryside leading to the killing of four persons and injury of 12 others.

In the surrounding area of Teshreen Military Hospital, five mortar shells have dropped leading to the killing of a woman and her child in addition to material damages in the cars existed in the area. Four other shells have dropped on Abu Romana area with no information about losses. However, the area of Engineering College witnessed the fall of rocket propelled grenade leading to the injury of two persons.

Syrian air forces launched 32 raids on the districts of Qabon, Barza, and Teshreen near Damascus in coincidence with the fall of dozens of missiles on these districts, according to a number of activists. A military source revealed that the governmental troops achieved notable advance in the areas controlled by the opposition militias.

The source added that the armed groups unified themselves to confront the advance of governmental troops, while the intensive bombardments against their strongholds forced them to retreat.

On the other hand, military council of Syria’s Democratic Troops have not honored their commitment to hand over the western side Manbaj city to the Syrian governmental troops upon their agreement with the Russian side. The council said that it will remain ruling the city under the sponsorship of International Coalition.

The council added, in a statement, “Manbaj and its countryside is protected by Syria’s Democratic Troops under the sponsorship of the International Coalition. We will not allow any other force to enter the area, as we are the only part who managed to liberate the city from ISIS in cooperation with the International Coalition.”

In Aleppo, the Syrian army managed to restore seven villages in the north eastern countryside, as they managed to kill dozens of ISIS fighters during the battles witnessed there during the recent days
