The eastern frontiers of eastern Damascus witnessed fierce clashes

The eastern frontiers of eastern Damascus witnessed fierce clashes on Monday evening, during which the opposition factions destroyed a tank and a bulldozer on the front of Qaboun district and killed seven people in Barza Garden. The factions also targeted a building in which government forces were holed up in the Joubar district and suffered direct injuries.

This was accompanied by the launching of air strikes on the neighborhoods of Qaboun, Tachrin and Barzeh, accompanied by the shelling of more than 10 elephant rockets on civilian houses, while those in Barza district were injured by the targeting of government forces.

In the countryside of Damascus, violent clashes broke out between the opposition factions and government forces on the outskirts of Tal al-Zayat and Black Dahr in the western countryside, during which the factions sniped two elements and implicated the government forces losses in equipment. Beit Jinn was hit by several shells. Clashes erupted between the factions and government forces on the outskirts of the town of Jisreen in the eastern Ghouta, following an attempt by the latter in the region, taking advantage of the factional fighting.

The air force launched air strikes on the cities of Saqba and Hamuriya in the eastern Ghouta, resulting in the deaths of 4 martyrs in Saqba and 3 martyrs in Hamouriya, in addition to a number of wounded persons. The town of Kfarabna and the city of Arbeen witnessed similar air raids that led to the fall of a number of deaths and injuries. Clashes erupted between "Army of Islam" on one hand, and Tahrir Al Sham and Al Rahman Corps on the other hand in the East Ghouta. The clashed led to the killed Al Rahman Corps’ media official Firas Menwar in Zamlaka city.

In Aleppo, government forces committed a horrific massacre in the town of Awijel in the western countryside, killing 16 people, including 9 children and 4 women. Civilian houses were hit by a "land-to-land" missile by the government forces. The clashes continued between the rebels and the government forces west of the city of Aleppo, during which the rebels today dropped a reconnaissance plane on the front of scientific research. In the southern countryside, the rebels managed to destroy the base "Corinth" of government forces on the front of Al Hader town.

In Hama, Syrian jets launched military air raids on Kafr Zita city, northern countryside, which led to the fall of 8 martyrs of the civil defense, and the destruction of the civil defense center and the furnace as well as the ambulance system in the city.

Meanwhile, helicopters threw drums containing chlorine poison gas on the city of Latamna.

In Idlib, Russian warplanes launched air raids on the town of Khan Sheikhoun and the towns of Tirmala, Marzita, Kefarlaya, Hibit, Tamta'a, Taibat and Ruwaisah, injuring a number of civilians. Russian air force targeted Nusra army headquarter, on the outskirts of the town of Taramala in the southern countryside, which led to seven killed.

In Homs there were very violent clashes, in the vicinity of Shaer oil field and the outskirts of al-Sokary area, in the eastern countryside between IS organization and regime forces, amid air raids and artillery shelling. In the northern countryside, the villages of Kissin, Qa'i and other villages in Hawla area were also shelled by artillery and mortars of the regime forces, resulting in injuries.

In Daraa, Syrian jets launched air raids on the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad, accompanied by heavy artillery and rocket fire, while the aircraft raided the town of Al-Naima. The town of Da'al and the western and eastern Gharian villages were shelled by artillery.

There were also clashes between elements of ISIS extremist group and the Syrian Democratic Forces near Rawi fuel station in the surrounding area of the town of Hnideh, as the International Coalition fighter jets targeted a car carrying a number of extremists in the town, which led to the killing of all of them.
