Cairo International Airport

Twenty-three African and Arab refugees were allowed by Cairo International Airport authorities to travel to the US and Germany.

Authorities in both countries have agreed to grant the refugees political asylum.

Meantime, 34 African people were deported by the authorities in the airport to their countries.

Most of the deportees were illegally staying in Egypt, while the rest tried to illegally penetrate across the border for Libya. They were from Sudan and Ethiopia.
