Tunisia will be the honour guest in the sixth edition of Abu Dhabi Film Festival, which is expected to start October 11. The Tunisian cinema will participate in the festival competition with two novel tapes, where the first for the director Nouri Bouzid entitled \"Manmoutosh\" (We Will Not Die). This tells the story of two girls at the end of Ben Ali ruling era, highlighting Tunisian family life within a society that believes in equality between man and woman in different life fields. The second Tunisian film competing among long feature films is entitled \"Ylaan Bu El Fostat\" and is directed by Sami Tlili, which follows actions in in Gafsa in 2008 and presents testimonies from some of the protestors involved. This session also will witness the participation of 165 films from 43 different countries, including 81 long films and 84 short films, in addition to the attendance of some foreign and Arab stars, like Richard Gere, and the Egyptian stars Mervat Amin and Khaled El Nabawy.
