Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about her relationship with director Darren Aronofsky.
Aronofsky directed Lawrence in “Mother!” which was shot last year and comes to theaters next month.
Lawrence told Vogue magazine she and Aronofsky began dating after filming wrapped up. She said she likes Aronofsky’s directness, saying she’s “never confused with him.” One point of contention in the relationship is the Oscar-winning actress’ reality television obsession, which she said Aronofsky finds “vastly disappointing.”
Lawrence stars with Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Ed Harris in the horror film “Mother!” which focuses on a couple whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of unexpected guests.
Lawrence is known in the media for being a vocal advocate of feminism and gender equality, and is the founder of the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation through which she supports various charitable organizations.
In March, she also starred as Dominika Egorova in the spy thriller “Red Sparrow,” directed by Francis Lawrence.
Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer have also written a screenplay for a film in which they will star, and Lawrence has also committed to star in her fourth X Men film, subtitled “Dark Phoenix.”
