Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Shaikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, current on visit to Cairo. Egyptian Presidency spokesman said that the meeting focused on latest regional developments, spotlighting the Qatar crisis, in particular. 

The Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier outlined his country’s efforts to maintain the cohesion and unity of the Arab countries, as the regional faces critical challenges. President al-Sisi appreciated the dedicated efforts led by the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah which, he said, reflect his keenness on Arab solidarity and consensus. 

He highlighted the pillars of Egypt’s foreign policy, which is based on non-interference in the internal affairs of any country and the protection of the pan-Arab security. The Egyptian leader said that his country does not tolerate any interference in its internal affairs, stressing the importance of confronting any policy that supports terrorism. Shaikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah reiterated his country’s keenness on Egypt’s security and stability, being a key pillar in the Arab region.
