The first gelato museum in the world was inaugurated Thursday in Anzola dell\'Emilia near the Italian city of Bologna. Visitors will be able to learn about the history of Italian ice cream as they walk through 450 square meters of exhibition space. It would appear ice cream dates back as an invention to Mesapotamia in 1799 A.C., when locals used snow to cool beverages. One of the next references to gelato dates back to when Caterina De\' Medici introduced the art of sorbets in France.
