The Egyptian Council of Churches deplored Thursday the terror attack on five checkpoints in Sinai.

Around 17 soldiers and 100 terrorists were killed and scores others injured in Sinai confrontations.

In a statement Thursday, the council expressed condolences over the loss of those brave army personnel and wished the injured speedy recovery.
