The Creative Exhibition of Culture, Arts and Heritage (Masarrat) under the auspices of Prince Khaled bin Turki bin Saud kicks off today at Hilton Jeddah. The exhibition will showcase 35 craftworks of young businesswomen and productive families who will present their handmade works and projects for the first time. The chairperson of Masarrat Princess Masha’el bint Miqren said the Saudi woman embodies creativity through some of the most beautiful display works in this exhibition that consequently reflects her uniqueness and distinctiveness. The princess added the recent achievements of the Saudi exhibitions and functions concerning women’s issues are the fruits of the vision and efforts provided by the Saudi government to support the Saudi woman and her ambitions. Zainab Al Qahtani, head of the organizing committee, said more than 100 male and female young Saudis will present a collection of aesthetics creative works in addition to 150 Saudi men and women artists who will showcase their masterpieces. She added that there will be around 60 Arabic and international plastic artworks on display and there will be jewelry and fashion design shows by Saudi designers. Talking about spending on fashion, Al-Qahtani commented the Saudi woman occupies a global position as a fashion consumer among other Arab and international nationalities.
