Visiting Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and his accompanying delegation this afternoon paid a visit to the Museum of Islamic Art . He toured the various sections of the Museum to see collection of Islamic artifacts and relics, which includes jewels of rare heritage, including books, manuscripts, coins made of silver, copper and bronze as well as glass, ivory, textiles, wood items, precious stones and art collection going back to four centuries, which have been collected from three continents . He was also briefed about museum, which is considered to be the largest of its kind in the region and the stages of its establishment and its role in the dissemination of science and culture and to encourage creativity and communication with the global cultures and arts. President Alexander Lukashenko was accompanied during the visit by HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari.(
