The Presidents of Russia and China

The third All-Russia "Chinese Bridge" Proficiency Competition was held in the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok on Friday, with 25 students exhibiting their language skills.
The competitors came from universities of Russia's Far Eastern and Trans-Baikalian regions and cities of Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
The top five winners at this event will represent Russia at the World "Chinese Bridge" contest in China.
"Our team of five girls will give presentation 'The Chinese Dream.' The dream is about China and about being proficient in Chinese. We hope to take the first place," said contestant Anna Omelchenko from Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
"For me, this contest gives a great chance to be more fluent in Chinese," St. Petersburg State University contestant Elina Zorina told Xinhua.
Vladivostok is the third Russian city that hosts "Chinese Bridge" national finals, following Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The contest was organized by the Confucius Institute Headquarters, the Chinese Embassy and the FEFU Confucius Institute.
