The Yemeni Cabinet has ratified raising the prices of liquid natural gas (LNG) sold to Korea Gas Corporation (Kogas) from $3.15 to $14 per million Btu, with increase of 400 percent when comparing with the previous prices. According to the Saba News Agency, the Cabinet commended the efforts of the ministerial committee which was tasked to follow up the modification of LNG prices, directing the committee to continue its negotiations with Total and GDF-Suez to alter the sale prices in accordance with global market prices.
