Sudan\'s Minister of Petroleum has vowed to increase cooperation with other states in relation to manning its oil fields. Awad al-Jaz disclosed that several international companies are interested in helping Sudan push ahead with its production of crude. The minister was speaking after a meeting with delegates from Russia, in Khartoum. According to Sudan\'s Ministry of Petroleum, the Russians representatives expressed their willingness to work with Sudanese government. Al-Jaz told reporters that Sudan and Russia have a \"historic relationship,\" adding that Russian and European companies are welcome to invest in Sudan whenever they want.
