Prices of American oil of forward deals and those of the Brent crude rose in the end of the week, buoyed by news about an imminent European deal to offer financial aid to Greece. The International Financial Brokerage Group said in a report, released on Saturday, prices of the American light crude for forward transactions rose by USD 0.90, reaching USD 88.28 per barrel. Upon closing on Wednesday, the contracts rose by USD 1.21 pb, the report said, noting that Thursday was Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Prices of the forward contracts of the Brent rose upon settlement by 83 cents to the level of USD 111.83 pb, the report said, indicating that the prices of the crude were positively affected with forecast regarding investors\' confidence in Germany, thus trimming fears concerning demand in the euro zone and boosted the euro rate vis a vis the US dollar. Regarding price of the gold, it stood at USD 1,734.50 per ounce, in London late on Friday. In New York, it reached USD 1,1729.05 per ounce. On bourses, the report noted that American stocks rose for the fifth consecutive day. As to the European shares, they posted the best performance this year, with similar performance.
