The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up by USD 0.07 to USD 105.30 per barrel in Tuesday speculations from USD 105.23 pb in the previous day, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Wednesday. In its daily market update, the KPC attributed the price rise to strong demand on oil resulting from the cold front in the US and European countries as well as the positive economic data from the manor economies. Recent turmoil in some oil producing such as South Sudan and Libya also contributed to the increase.
