Iran has resumed the flow of its gas export to Turkey a day after Tehran made repairs on a natural gas transmission pipeline which was damaged in an explosion, a local official said. Governor of Maku Hamid Ahmadian said that repair operation of gas pipeline has been completed on Saturday afternoon and gas export has been resumed again to Turkey. Iran\'\'s news agency (IRNA) quoted Ahmadian as saying that after explosion in the pipeline, experts and technical elements of Iran\'\'s National Gas Company started their efforts to repair the damage which ended on Saturday. The pipeline was exploded on Friday morning somewhere close to Bazargan border due to unknown reasons and exporting gas to Turkey was stopped. The pipeline had capacity of exporting around 30 million cubic meters natural gas daily to Turkey. Last year, six billion and 800 million cubic meters natural gas was exported to Turkey and it is predicted that this year it will reach 10 billion cubic meters.
