Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance

Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia said on Sunday that the government envisaged less dependence on oil revenues, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 24th annual conference on government, currency and monetary policy, he noted that the administration of President Hassan Rouhani has planned to decrease the country’s dependence on the oil revenues.
Tayebnia underlined that achieving sustainable economic growth requires the increase of tax income.
Tayebnia declared that the government financial policy calls for investment and would also support the manufacturing units and the private sector.
President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday predicted economic boom for the country and said that the government has adopted programs to facilitate foreign investment.
