Gazprom officials said they were working for eliminating risks of winter gas shortage in Turkey. Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) on the claims about a possible gas shortage in Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece in the coming winter, as a result of a disagreement among the partners of Ukraine\'s joint stock Naftogaz company which would prevent the storing of adequate amount of natural gas in country\'s underground storages, Gazprom officials said, \"We believe that the negotiations with Ukraine would not pose a direct threat to natural gas transit through Ukraine\'s territory. Still, we want to clear out even the smallest risk. Therefore we had built the North Stream, and we are building South Stream.\" \"Gazprom never cut flow of narural gas to the purchasers with valid gas contracts. When it came to Turkey, Gazprom always took initiative to supply it with additional natural gas when there were troubles with other suppliers during winter time,\" added the officials.
