Crude oil prices edged higher Monday morning with prices at just less than $100 per barrel as equities were mixed in Asia and broadly lower in Europe. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for October delivery added 31cents to $99.31 per barrel. Natural gas shed 7.5 cents to $2.868 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil held steady at $3.2395 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 0.13 cents to $3.0143 per gallon. At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.862 per gallon, down from Sunday\'s $3.864, AAA reported.
