Saudi Aramco said it’s shipping crude normally today from terminals in the Arabian Gulf after it halted some “minor” operations yesterday because of a sandstorm “There was no interruption to company crude oil export operations and to commitments to the clients” since the bad weather struck on March 17, the state producer, known as Saudi Aramco, said today in an e-mailed statement. Saudi Aramco said all “minor” operations in Ju’aymah and Ras Tanura ports have been resumed successfully as of yesterday. Aramco operates six ports and terminals independently of the government. Two of them, Ju’aymah and Ras Tanura, are on the kingdom’s Gulf coast, according to the company’s website.
