The issues were discussed in a meeting between IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde and Governor of the CBI Mahmoud Bahmani on the sidelines of semiannual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington. Governor of the Central Bank of Iran conferred with Lagarde on the latest economic developments as well as illegal sanctions against Central Bank of Iran and Tehran oil exports. Targeted subsidy plan, values-add taxes, reform of Banking system as well as the role of oil price on people\'s life were also discussed in the meeting. \"The Islamic Republic of Iran as a member of International Monetary Fund and World Bank from the beginning made good relations with these organizations and expects their supports,\" Bahmani noted. Finance ministers and central bankers from around the globe are in Washington this week for the semiannual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
