President of Beni Suef University Amin Lotfy decided Wednesday to grant the honorary doctorate to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria during the coming year's festivals of the National Science Day.
He added that this step comes in recognition of his efforts maintain stability in the Egyptian society.
