Heritage conservation school

A scientific and educational cooperation agreement on the conservation of cultural heritage was inked Thursday, in Algiers, between the National School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties and French University Paris 8.

The agreement is aimed at intensifying the scientific cooperation between the two universities in the fields of digitization, research and development of cultural properties.

The agreement is about university teaching, continuing education for the sector's executives, production of documents and applied research, said the director of the National School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties, Samia Chergui.

The chairwoman of University Paris 8, Danielle Tartakowski, stressed the importance of international cooperation.
