Cairo University of Egypt and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia signed a cooperation agreement Tuesday in the field of scientific research.

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar stressed the importance of exchanging academic visits and expertise between the two sides in the coming stage.

Two Russian university delegations have already visited a number of Egyptian universities, Nassar said.
