Education Minister Abdul Razak al-Ashwal has discussed in Saudi Arabia with Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Abdullah Al-Turki bilateral cooperation in the education sector. The meeting dealt with ways to enhance aspects of teachers training and rehabilitation. Al-Ashwal reviewed efforts of the Education Ministry to promote the educational process through adopting a number of programs and activities, noting to the MWL’s efforts in the educational fields. At the same context, the minister met with Secretary General of the International Islamic Organization for Education of the League of Dr. Ali Al-Omari and discussed with him mechanisms to provide the technical and financial support for education sector in Yemen. At the meeting, the two sides agreed upon signing a bilateral cooperation agreement, under which the organization would train and rehabilitate teachers, educational supervisors and school administrations in Yemen.
