A South Carolina high school teacher was fired for showing a clip from the R-rated stunt film \"Jackass Number Two\" to his class, officials said. Christopher Poston, a teacher at Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, was fired by the Charleston County School District Wednesday for showing a sexually explicit clip from the movie in class, The State, in Columbia, S.C., reported. While covering a class for an absent colleague on Feb. 14, Poston downloaded \"Jackass Number Two\" and showed part of it in class. The clip shown featured a nearly-naked man with a puppet covering his penis trying to get a snake to bite his privates. A student felt uncomfortable being shown the film in class and told her parents, who then alerted school administrators. Poston\'s lawyer, Jay Masty, said he wouldn\'t have shown the movie in class if he had known the content. \"If he had known it, he wouldn\'t have shown it,\" Masty said. \"It is not excusable, but it is explainable.\" Poston is planning on appealing the school district\'s decision because he fears he may lose his teaching license, Masty said. \"All he wants to do in life is teach,\" Masty said. \"He\'s a smart guy. He could do something else. He doesn\'t want to. That\'s why we\'re appealing.\"
