Prince William, the duke of Cambridge

The royals have finally joined Twitter.
The British Monarchy announced Wednesday on Twitter that Prince William, the duke of Cambridge, his wife Kate Middleton, the duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry have joined the social media forum under the handle @KensingtonPalace.
The Kensington Palace account won't likely be run by any of the royals, but instead it promises to deliver "updates on their work and the #RoyalFoundation."
Since its inauguration early on Wednesday, the account has shared several updates from a Coachcore event, where Prince Harry is in attendance. The account has over 30,000 followers.
The palace explained in a tweet that "Coachcore was founded by the Royal Foundation in response to TRH's shared aim to inspire young people through sport."
