International press freedom organisation Reporters Without Borders (RWB) on Tuesday strongly condemned ongoing attacks against journalists in Iraq, including the shooting of two press professionals over the last three days."Radio Free Iraq" bureau chief Mohammed Baidawi was shot dead in Baghdad by a presidential guard on March 22 and "Radio Babel" journalist Raji Hamadallh was badly wounded in a shooting by unidentified gunmen in Babil province on Monday."We condemn the repeated attacks on journalists in Iraq and we urge the competent authorities to carry out independent and impartial investigations in order to shed light on the circumstances and identify those responsible," Reporters Without Borders said in a statement.The press freedom body noted that 14 journalists have been killed in the past five months in Iraq, while many more are regular targets for attack, intimidation and other forms of violence and pressure.
