The Bahraini government on Friday deported three foreign journalists after the group reportedly sneaked into the country without getting permission to carry out their work, official BNA news agency reported.The report quoted the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) as saying that it decided to deport the three journalists working at a foreign channel after they violated the laws and regulations.\"They exercised media activities without obtaining a license from the competent authorities,\" the IAA said in a statement.The three men had previously been warned more than once for the need to obtain prior authorization, but they insisted on violating laws and regulations, the statement added.Scores of foreign journalists arrived in the country recently to cover the 2013 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.The final race will be held on Sunday amid increasing protests by opposition groups, which along with anti-government protesters are urging the government to cancel the F1 race and meet their demand.
