Deputy Director of Financial Department at Al Ahram newspaper Mohamed Anwar Abdel Dayem was killed when his car overturned Saturday while traveling from Cairo to Alexandria.

The accident happened near the town of Noubariya in Beheira governorate.

The front tire of the vehicle ruptured, causing the car to overturn on the side of the road.

Abdel Dayem's wife and three children were injured.

They were transferred to West Noubariya hospital.
