The Takeri Concept is Mazda\'s latest mid-size saloon, and it will be making its European debut at the Geneva motor show. This is far from a production-ready concept, but it points the way to Mazda\'s next mid-size saloon, eventually replacing the Mazda6. It\'s the latest concept to use the \'Kodo - Style in motion\' design theme, developing the overall idea of a sporting four-door coupe from the 2010 Shinari Concept. Showcasing a new regenerative braking system, called i-ELOOP (Intelligent Energy Loop), this car is dynamically focused, but majors on efficiency - with the company\'s new SKYACTIV-D diesel engine and six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmission. The various different systems are said to rincrease overall efficiency by 10 percent. Also on show at Geneva will be the all-new Mazda CX-5 compact crossover and the MX-5 Venture Edition.
