MINI is using London landmarks as the inspiration behind a pair of new special editions, both based on the hatchback. The MINI Bayswater – named after the area located west of Hyde Park – is available in Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S and Cooper SD guises. It features unique Kite Blue metallic paint, 17-inch Sandblast alloys and striped wing mirrors. Inside it gets the Chrome Line and Chili packages, which add part-leather upholstery, climate control and xenon headlights. Prices for the Bayswater range from £18,565 for the Cooper to £23,375 for the Cooper SD auto. The MINI Baker Street is named after the road Sherlock Holmes lived on, and gets unique Rooftop Grey metallic paint with twin black bonnet stripes. Matching black-gloss 16-inch wheels, black wing mirrors and a contrasting black roof finish the look. Based on the One, One D, Cooper and Cooper D models, the Baker Street starts at £16,365 for the One with a manual gearbox, and rises to £19,945 for the Cooper D with a six-speed auto.
