The Subaru BRZ GT300 meets its match, this time in the form of a Toyota Prius racing-spec.If you were to guess as to what a Subaru BRZ GT300 racing rival would look like from Toyota, you would most certainly guess it would come in the form of a GT-86. And you would be wrong. The Toyota Prius GT300 racer will compete in next year\'s SuperGT season and will replace the Japanese automaker\'s incumbent racer, the Axio. The touring car Prius will run on a hybrid drivetrain, just like the Honda CR-Z that will compete in the same class. The sketch seen in the photos was first spotted in a Japanese publication titled Auto Sport Magazine. The Prius racer will feature all the usual SuperGT accoutrements, such as a tweaked powertrain for around 300hp along with a stripped interior for weight savings. Sport-spec seats, transmission and roll cage will all make their way onto the new Toyota Prius GT300.
