North Korea, eager to increase its tourism income, started a new tour program this week by opening its border to bicycle tourists from China for the first time, China's state-run media reported Saturday. China's official Xinhua news agency, citing unidentified organizers of the tour program, said 35 Chinese tourists traveled to North Korea on Friday by taking bicycles from the northeastern city of Tumen in Jilin province to the North Korean border city of Onsong.
