La La Land

Emma Stone picked up the best actress award on Sunday at the British Bafta ceremony for her role in "La La Land", a whimsical tribute to Hollywood's golden age of musicals.

Stone beat off competition from actresses including Meryl Streep and Natalie Portman to pick up the gong at a glitzy ceremony held at London's Royal Albert Hall.

She plays an aspiring actress in "La La Land", which has already picked up seven Golden Globes and has been nominated for 14 Oscars.
