EU President Donald Tusk

EU President Donald Tusk called an emergency summit of the eurozone's national leaders on Monday in a bid to solve the Greek debt crisis after finance ministers' talks ended without a breakthrough.

"In light of the outcome of the Eurogroup meeting today, I have decided to convene a Euro Summit on Monday 22 June at 19h00. It is time to urgently discuss the situation of Greece at the highest political level," Tusk said in a statement Thursday.
