A United Nations conference due to begin Thursday in Geneva and intended to relaunch peace talks in war-torn Yemen has been postponed, a UN official told AFP.

"I can confirm that the meeting has been postponed," the official said Sunday, without providing further explanation, amid uncertainty over who would attend.
