Smoke rises after airstrikes by military jets

Russia's military said on Sunday it had bombed 10 Daesh group targets in Syria over the past 24 hours as it was expanding its aerial campaign.

"Over the past 24 hours SU-34, SU-24M and SU-25 jets made 20 sorties," the defence ministry said. "Ten infrastructure targets of Daesh bandit groups have been struck," it said, referring to Daesh, adding that the military were expanding their bombing campaign.
