Israeli forces attack

A Palestinian related to a man suspected of being behind an anti-Israeli attack was killed by undercover Israeli agents in hospital on Wednesday night, official Palestinian and Israeli sources said.

"Abdallah Azzam Shalaldeh, aged 27, was killed by a unit of mustarabin (undercover agents) at the Hebron hospital," said the Palestinian health ministry.

Israel's internal security services confirmed the raid, saying that Israeli forces fired when the man -- thought to be close to Shalaldeh Azzam, who carried out a knife attack in September -- tried to resist arrest.
