Mexican federal forces have arrested the son of the Jalisco New drug cartel's leader, an official said Tuesday, dealing a blow to a gang that has violently defied authorities.

It is the secon time that authorities arrest Ruben Oseguera, alias "El Menchito" and son of Nemesio Oseguera, as he was released in December due to lack of evidence, the official from the attorney general's office told AFP.
