US Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday that Russia has proposed holding "military to military" talks on Syria.

"The Russians proposed... that we have a military to military conversation and meeting" on the conflict, Kerry told a press conference a day after holding telephone talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
