Israeli fire killed a Palestinian during clashes Friday near Gaza's border, the first death related to unrest in the enclave after days of violence in east Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Ahmed al-Hirbawi, 20, was killed when soldiers responded after youths threw stones toward them on the other side of the border between Gaza and Israel.
