UN watchdog chief Yukiya Amano

A long-delayed investigation into whether Iran has sought to develop nuclear weapons could be completed by the end of the year with Tehran's help, the head of the UN atomic watchdog said Saturday.

Following his talks in Tehran earlier this week, UN watchdog chief Yukiya Amano said that "with the cooperation from Iran I think we can issue a report by the end of the year on the ... clarification of the issues related to possible military dimensions."
